I say if you’re curious, try on a piece of furniture with doors and drawers or in a smaller bathroom vanity. That will give you a good idea of how much space you need, how many layers are required, and how much prep is involved. It’s not that you can’t, it’s that it needs to be done properly. Your kitchen cabinets and your kitchen are such an important part of the value of your home that to do it unprofessionally may leave you feeling like you wish you never attempted it.
